BIO: Shade prefers to keep his personal life secret,believing it will keep him and his younger sister safe from enemies. He's extremely protective of Extreme, sometimes acting more of a father figure. Shade also has trust issues when confronting strangers but he's more lenient towards women, who he's very 'polite' with, which in fact is flirting, he just doesn't know the difference. Most of the time Shade is serious and quiet, always keeping an eye out for any confrontations that may come and makes sure he understands his surroundings before getting too comfortable, especially when they camp out for the night. Even though he's not as outgoing as his sister he does sometimes goof off with her, calling each other names and wrestling about. Shade however can bring out his own temper that has been known to be worse than Extreme's.
Backstory: Shade was born in Antarctica with his mother and father, all was well until until 2 years later his dad went missing from a fishing trip, his mother presumed her husband was killed by a predator. This caused Cateryna to become severely depressed and dismissive of her son Shade and new egg. It was so bad that she'd have a baby sitter care for them a lot of the times but Shade kept his hopes up. Once day his newly sibling hatches, a little mischievous sister. She ran off to explore and Shade followed her, coming across shady humans. They were taken away and boarded on a ship to be sold off to zoo's, unfortunately they weren't going to be send to the same place and they got separated. Shade vowed to find his sister no matter what.
ABOUT DESIGN:
I totally love his new design, in his earlier design he just looked like an older version of his sister Extreme. His outfit has been redesigned a couple of times, I wanted something samurai-like. I wanted his new outfit to be more organic and handmade, and what inspired me was the 2014 tmnt designs lol. The sword is a sword fish nose bone. and yesh, shark teeth shoulder pads for the win!
Choosing his eye colour was really hard, they were originally brown but I changed them to this really nice grey, but then I changed them back to brown for nostalgia's sake lol. That includes the hat, which he doesn't get till later.
